Heart of Florida United Way adheres to stringent financial reporting requirements to ensure accountability and transparency. Each year, HFUW undergoes an audit by an independent CPA firm and files the Form 990 with the IRS. The audit report and Form 990 are reviewed by the Heart of Florida United Way Finance Committee and approved by the Board of Directors. The latest audit was completed for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016 and the financial statements fairly and accurately present the financial position of Heart of Florida United Way.
