Heart of Florida United Way is a volunteer-driven organization that involves community leaders and professionals in every aspect of our activities. We give a special thanks to the following volunteer groups for their ongoing support and commitment:
United Way’s Campaign Cabinet includes leaders from both the public and private sectors of our community. Cabinet members volunteer their time to help increase community participation in the United Way campaign within their respective industries. United Way’s Finance Committee consists of community volunteers who have professional experience and expertise in finance. The primary responsibility of the committee is to oversee the organization’s financial reporting and management practices on behalf of the Board and report the results of their activities to the Board. United Way’s Marketing Committee includes volunteers with professional experience and expertise in the areas of marketing, communications, special events and public relations. They work with the marketing department to strategize about how to effectively engage the community in United Way’s mission. View Marketing Committee.
By combining the power of philanthropy, volunteerism and awareness, the United Way Women’s Leadership Council is addressing critical in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. The Council is guided by a Steering Committee of approximately 30 influential and compassionate women who invest their time and resources to make a difference.
