Central Florida College Access NetworkEducation is the single most influential factor in determining whether a child will do as well or better than their parents. The “information barrier” is one of the major obstacles in making college a reality. Studies show that children from less affluent backgrounds, even high-ability students, lack the “road maps” necessary to complete the college enrollment process. Making deadlines and properly filling out applications for enrollment and financial aid significantly limit students from going to college – especially those who might be the first in their families to ever apply.

That’s why we have collaborated with partners to launch the Central Florida College Access Network (CFCAN), a collective effort with the goal of increasing the number of adults in our tri-county area with a post-secondary degree or high quality credential to 60% by 2025.
