Complimentary Exam

Your first orthodontic visit with Dr. Miyamoto will be a clinical examination to address any questions or concerns and to discuss how braces may benefit you or your child. The doctor will carefully examine the teeth, jaws and facial structure for a variety of orthodontic problems.

The cost of treatment will vary depending on the severity of the problem and the estimated treatment time. We accept a variety of insurance and have several payment options to help make orthodontics affordable for you.

Diagnostic Records

If it is determined that braces may benefit you, Dr. Miyamoto will recommend taking diagnostic records, which include photos, x-rays, and digital models of the teeth. These diagnostic records will then be used by the orthodontist to form a more complete diagnosis and treatment plan.

Regular Appointments

The time taken for placing your braces or appliance usually lasts about an hour and a half. After that we will see you every four to eight weeks for shorter adjustment appointments, lasting about 30 minutes. Patients are seen by appointment only.
