Baxter’s Bunch originated from the concept of the children’s book series, Baxter’s Bunch. Written by RW Norman and illustrated by JBird Thompson, these children’s books teach good values through sports and play. They encourage a healthy/active lifestyle and contain fun characters. Baxter the Basketball and his “Bunch” of friends teach these values.
The first two books, Adam Learns to Share and Sage Teaches Teamwork were big successes that received critical acclaim and helped children nationwide develop better eating habits, healthy exercise routines, teamwork and more. The success of the books inspired the team to push forward with more adventures for Baxter and his Bunch.
The books then lead to the creation of an actual Playhouse that espouses these the very values contained in the books. Within the walls of the Baxter’s Bunch Playhouse, children learn the value of teamwork, healthy eating, active lifestyles and other positive traits.
Now, we are extremely excited to launch the Pilot for the upcoming Baxter’s Bunch TV Show that will continue to follow and promote the Healthy Lifestyle mission, and bring the Baxter’s Bunch Characters to life!
