Volunteers are at the core of what we do each and every day. Without them, United Way and other non-profit organizations could not make the impact in the community that we do. Our volunteers give their time and talents to make Central Florida a better place.<\/p>\n
On July 19, 2016<\/strong>, we will be hosting the 3rd<\/sup> annual Community Volunteer Excellence Awards, a special event recognizing the work of volunteers from different organizations across the region. The reception and awards ceremony will take place at the John & Rita Lowndes\u00a0Shakespeare Center<\/strong>\u00a0at 5:30 p.m. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Volunteers from any nonprofit, government\u00a0or educational organization serving Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties are considered eligible.\u00a0 Winners will be chosen by a panel of independent judges.\u00a0 All winners will receive a commemorative award and will be recognized at the award ceremony and reception on July 18. \u00a0All nominees will receive a certificate of their nomination. \u00a0Refreshments will be served.<\/p>\nNominations Are Closed<\/h3>\n
