Heart of Florida United Way’s Board of Directors provides leadership and sets policies for our organization. Board members serve as stewards of community dollars, understand United Way’s legal responsibilities, review and approve annual budgets and oversee agency and program funding decisions. These dedicated volunteers represent every facet of community life and are an invaluable asset to United Way and those we serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Ann McGee, Ed.D.<\/strong>, President of\u00a0Seminole State College of Florida, leads the eighth largest institution of the twenty-eight within the Florida College System. During her tenure, McGee has overseen significant growth in enrollment, degree programs and campus facilities. Seminole State now enrolls more than 31,000 students, offers five bachelor\u2019s degrees and ranks as Seminole County\u2019s third largest employer.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"\"<\/td>\nVice Chair:\u00a0David E.\u00a0Fuller<\/strong>, President, SunTrust Foundation, Central Florida leads\u00a0the SunTrust Foundation, \u00a0a private foundation focused on advancing the corporate purpose of Lighting the Way to Financial Well-Being. The Foundation gives grants to not-for-profits who focus on financial education and financial well-being across the SunTrust footprint in the Southeastern United States.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"Michael-Mueller\"<\/td>\nTreasurer: Michael Mueller<\/strong>, is the Chief Financial Officer for Health Central Hospital, a nationally recognized, not-for-profit, comprehensive community hospital, where he was awarded the \u201cCFO of the Year\u201d from the Orlando Business Journal. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has served in executive healthcare finance roles with a variety of healthcare systems. He also serves on the financial committee for the YMCA of Central Florida and has previously been involved with Kappa Delta Rho Foundation, the Dana-Thomas House Foundation and the United Way of Central Illinois.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/a><\/td>\nSecretary:\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong>William B. Wilson<\/strong> is the executive partner of Holland & Knight’s Orlando office and focuses on complex commercial litigation. He is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer and a past chair of The Florida Bar’s Trial Lawyers Section.\u00a0\u00a0 In a recent press release, Holland & Knight announced that he has maintained his Florida Bar Certification for 30 years, an accomplishment that is shared with only 221 attorneys in the state.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"Jeff<\/td>\nPresident &\u00a0CEO: Jeff Hayward, <\/strong>Jeff brings a unique background in politics, public and private sector leadership. After serving as a state representative in Massachusetts and VP of development\/marketing for a national, publicly traded health care company, he joined the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley. There, as chief of external affairs, he led the annual strategic investment of nearly $35 million in initiatives and agencies.
