The United Way Gifts in Kind Center (GIKC) solicits and collects donated merchandise and materials for redistribution to local nonprofit health and human service agencies and school PTAs.<\/p>\n

If you or your company has a surplus of office supplies, cleaning products, home improvement supplies, books, toys, household goods or other new items, you can help support local nonprofit agencies by arranging a large-scale, in-kind donation.<\/p>\n

For organizations interested in requesting items from the Gifts in Kind Center, please follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Review the Gifts in Kind Center Membership Guide<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Complete the United Way Gifts in Kind Center Application<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. Provide a copy of 501(c) 3 documentation from the Internal Revenue Service.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Only approved staff from member agencies can request GIKC items. Appointments to visit the center can be made by phone. Agencies can also submit a Gifts in Kind Center Request Form<\/a> to request items and fax it to 407-244-2809.<\/p>\n
