CAV staff recently met with Jim Patton and Eric Woebel from Control 4 to review their latest advancements to the Control 4 product line up. During the two day sessions the CAV team learned about the new products as well as made upgrades to their existing surround sound room which had been controlled by the previous Control 4 versions. This upgrade has brought many new features to the room including a 7” portable touch screen and 7” in-wall touch screen. Both have cameras which enhance the system by providing the ability to do video intercom between the two devices as well as audio-video control. The room also demonstrates Control 4’s ability to control HVAC, security system, lighting and door locks all from the touch screens or smart devices such as IPads and IPhones.
